Why Do We Plan This?
One Vision Society operates in a community of approximately 3,000 Christian families, where many children are receiving secular education from various government and private schools. However, in today's digital age, proficiency in computer skills is crucial across all fields. Unfortunately, when these students graduate and seek employment, many are unable to secure jobs due to a lack of computer literacy, despite being well-educated.
Digital illiteracy is a significant barrier preventing these individuals from finding employment. Many desire to acquire computer skills, but there is no local computer training center to provide training. Although there are several computer training institutes in our city, they are too far away and financially out of reach for most families, many of whom are already living below the poverty line. Approximately 95% of the children in our community come from brick kiln and impoverished families, with many having lost one or both parents.
Our Christian community has expressed a strong need for a computer training center to empower their children and enable them to meet the requirements of local businesses. We aim to lift these youth out of poverty, which is why we are committed to establishing a free computer training center. We have completed all necessary documentation, but due to limited resources, we are unable to start this project at present. We need your prayers and support.
Computer literacy is essential for understanding and using computers effectively. Employers are increasingly reliant on technology, and having basic computer skills is vital for job seekers.
Courses and Software Offered:
- Basics: Windows installation, control panel, email, and internet usage
- DCS: Microsoft Office, InPage
- Computer Hardware: Practical work, troubleshooting, and networking
- Graphics Design: Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, and Corel Photo
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Effects
- Website Development: WordPress, Joomla, Magento, hosting, and domain management tools
